Jenny dutifully went to her coach's house.  Obviously unpleasantness awaited her, but she didn't know what it was.  It turned out Coach Strickland secretly followed Jenny's accounts and had seen all of the pictures she had posted of Eveline.  She was furious that Jenny had made Eveline do all that stuff in the park and was trying to turn her into an Internet celebrity.

Her reaction was not so much sympathy for Eveline as it was anger that Jenny was trying to usurp control of her house-guest and had undercut her authority.

"You fucked up!  You know I don't like fuck-ups!  You know that!  And you know what happens to fuck-ups around here, don't you?"

Jenny had no choice in the matter, if she cared about her future.  Coach Strickland had nominated her for a sports scholarship at a prestigious university.  If she didn't do what the coach told her, Strickland could rescind the recommendation and she'd have to pay for college herself and go horribly into debt, just like most other students.
