The commander coldly smiled and continued:

"Here's the catch.  If your reason to be let out of walking around with your sign isn't good enough, then, well... remember all those times you zapped recruits?  I do, because I have it on record.  371 zaps altogether.  Level 6... level 7... even a couple of level 8's.  That's a lot of zaps.  You'll be getting all of those back.  But, not to worry.  If you don't give me a good enough reason to quit walking the first time, after you take your zaps you can think it over and try with another line of reasoning.  I'll listen.  Maybe the second time you'll do better.  Or maybe the second time you'll end up getting another 371 zaps.  Up to you, really..."
